HYALURON FILLERS
THE TREATMENT
Filler is sterile injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid. It consists of the same type of hyaluronic acid that is found naturally in our connective tissue.
Hyaluronic acid stimulates the production of collagen.
As we age, the production of Hyaluronic acid in the body decreases and thereby the production of collagen which is an important factor in the skin’s elasticity and tension. This results in wrinkles and sagging, wrinkled skin.
By adding hyaluronic acid to the skin, you compensate for the loss of hyaluronic acid and thereby stimulate collagen production again.
Filler is a gel (a bit like a jam in consistency) which is applied into the skin with an injection.
It gives the skin / lips more fullness and you can shape and fill where needed.
For eksample you can fill out wrinkles and sunken cheeks, under eyes, in lips, folds and corners of mouth.
Shape cheekbones, jaw line, lips, chin, nose, earlobes and more.
The applied gel is broken down over time and the effect decreases within 6 – 18 months, depending on areas, skin type and age.
During and after the treatment, the result is seen immediately. The gel can sometimes be felt under the skin but over the next few days it unites with the tissue.
I work with all types of Restylane fillers which are available in different thicknesses and textures.
I also have other types of fillers, such as Teosyal, Juvederm and Belotero in the clinic. All recognized and safe fillers.
Fillers, Skinboosters, Botox and chemical peel can be nicely combined in the same treatment session.
