Skinboosters
THE TREATMENT
Skinboosters are sterile injectable gels made from hyaluronic acid. It consists of the same type of hyaluronic acid that is found naturally in our connective tissue. Hyaluronic acid stimulates the production of collagen. As we age, the production of Hyaluronic acid in the body decreases and thereby the production of collagen which is an important factor in the skin’s elasticity and tension. This results in wrinkles and sagging skin.
By adding hyaluronic acid into the skin, you compensate for the loss of hyaluronic acid and thereby stimulate collagen production again.
Skinboosters are applied into the skin by injection.
Skinboosters are thin gel and treatment with it is also called the rejuvenation cure or mini “face-lift”. Small doses of the hyaluronic acid are injected into the skin. It provides deep hydration from within while increasing collagen production.
Over the next 3-4 weeks, your skin’s structure and elasticity will improve markedly – your skin will rejuvenate itself, so time is turned back! Skinbooster is a cure where it is recommended that you receive 3 treatments with approx. 1 month interval for full effect. Step by step it gives a fuller and more supple skin and fine lines are smoothed.
There are different types of skinboosters I choose to work with
Restylane Vital, Profhilo and Sunekos.
Restylane is super good for face and neck as well as flabby skin on arms.
Profhilo is especially suitable for sagging and wrinkled skin, as on neck, décolleté and arms.
Sunecos is especially suitable for sagging eyelids, wrinkled skin under the eyes and for dark circles under the eyes. Sunecos also contains amino acids which together with the hyaluronic acid boost even better for the growth factors and new collagen threads.
